Live companion for in-person events

See the whole floor. Live.

One live map at the centre — and your whole event around it: registrations, crew bound to every node, live updates, stalls with stock and prices, Razorpay preorders, a what’s-hot leaderboard, analytics after. Your crew keeps it true in two taps.

The problem

The moment doors open, your event goes dark.

The printed map was true at 9:58. By 10:06 it’s fiction. Which tables have seats, whether the demo actually started, whether the stall restocked or dropped its price — that truth lives in physical space and dies in minutes. So events run on WhatsApp groups with 600 unread, Google Forms feeding spreadsheets nobody refreshes, and paper registers. You run the floor on gut.

How it works

Two taps. Then physics.

One primitive — the crew member already standing at a node keeps one tiny piece of state true. Everything else is machinery that makes it trustworthy.

Beat 01

A crew member taps twice.

Scan the QR at your node — table, stall, stage, desk — and you're bound in seconds. Status pills, legal transitions only. Full → Open seats. That's the whole job.

Beat 02

Truth travels.

One tap fans out to every open screen in under two seconds. Seat subscribers get a push. The live feed writes itself.

Beat 03

People flow.

Chairs glow. Feet follow. The floor reorganizes around what's actually true — not around rumor.

How it works · three roles

Admins build. Crew keep it true. Visitors flow.

Admins create the event and run it live. Crew own their nodes and keep the floor honest. Visitors register, find what's live and follow the map. Same floor, same truth.

Blueprints — or a blank hall

Every blueprint is a working event you reshape — college fest, game con, trade expo — with the right vocabulary built in. Or add halls and zones yourself and draw your own floor.

The Builder

Answer a few questions and a working floor assembles itself — zones, nodes, stage, desks. Drag to fine-tune. Pass the checklist. Publish.

Bind crew to nodes

Generate a code bound to a node; the volunteer redeems it and host mode unlocks on their phone — Priya → Stage, Rahul → Stall 4. Or promote a signed-in visitor by email. Revoke in one tap.

Registrations & tickets

Open registration with capacity caps, issue entry QRs, check people in at the gate — and see signups climb before doors open.

Moderation, built in

Approve listings, retire spam, freeze a rogue node. A clean queue with one-tap decisions keeps the marketplace and channels trustworthy.

Live-ops board

Nodes live, needs-check-in, buzz by zone, dead-zone watch. Find problems before the rumor does — and nudge a quiet crew member in one tap.

Announcements that land

Channel posts with pins and CTA links, delivered by web push. The important thing stays on top instead of drowning at message #601.

Analytics after the applause

Footfall by hour, node utilisation, registrations vs walk-ins, what sold, what sat idle — how your event actually performed, in one report.

The map

A map people actually read.

The map is Scout's centre of gravity — every table, stall, stage and session pins to it. Round wooden tables with chair rings. Striped awnings. A stage that glows when something's on. Scroll: the floor tilts into 3D and the day dims to dusk, then night — because your event doesn't happen in a wireframe.

The trust layer

The map that never lies.

Crowd-kept status is worthless unless the system is honest about its own staleness. So Scout never pretends. Any status untouched for 11 minutes dims to “last seen.” A background sweeper enforces it. Admins can nudge a quiet crew member. One tap — “Still here” — and the color comes back. Fresh means fresh. Dim means dim. That's the whole religion.

Crew management

Every node gets a name on it.

Invite your crew, then bind each member to the nodes they own — across halls, lawns and labs. When doors open, nobody asks “who's running the stage?” The map already knows. And coverage gaps show up before the event, not during it.

Nudges

The floor can ask for people.

“Need one more at Table 9” goes out as a targeted push, not a group-chat plea. Visitors tap and head over; the crew watches them arrive.

Pick a blueprint. Shape your floor. Publish.

Scout is plug and play — and not just for one event. Pick a blueprint (college fest, game con, trade expo — each a working event you reshape, never a blank canvas), set your counts — “two halls, twelve tables, a stage, an info desk” — and generate your floor. Drag any piece to fine-tune; tap a rug to select a zone. Theme it in your colours — visitors can even dress the app in your event’s palette — bind your crew, pass the go-live checklist, publish. Next month, do it again in an afternoon.

One engine. Any floor.

Blueprints ship the vocabulary. A college fest has Stalls run by Volunteers; an expo has Booths run by Reps. Same primitives, same trust rules — rename the parts and run your event, whatever it is.
